Twelve Canadians among 45 promoted globally by Norton Rose Fulbright

Twelve Canadians were among the 45 promotions worldwide announced by global law firm Norton Rose Fullbright, including 41 partners and four promotions to the South African equivalent of director.

Female partners account for 40 per cent of the promotions globally (18 out of 45).

The new Canadian partners, whose promotions are effective Jan. 1, 2017, and their offices are as follows:

Toronto: Amy Grenon, intellectual property; Maya Medeiros, IP; Michael Torrance, employment and labour.

Calgary: Michael Bolitho, real estate; James O’Sullivan, corporate, M&A and securities; Elizabeth Williams, IP.

Ottawa: Jamie Macdonald, dispute resolution and litigation; Peter MacTavish, employment and labour.

Montreal: Charles A Foucreault, dispute resolution and litigation.

Quebec: Jean-Sébastien Cloutier, employment and labour; Pierre Duquette, dispute resolution and litigation; Jean-Nicolas Prévost, corporate, M&A and securities.
