■ Carolyn Lloyd is a new partner in Lerners LLP’s London, Ont., office. Lloyd is an established family law litigator with a strong focus on alternative dispute resolution, including family law mediation, arbitration and collaborative family law. She is the acting chair of Collaborative Family Law of London and Middlesex.

■ Thomas Gold Pettingill LLP has four new partners, Charles Dobson, Sarah Jones, Ashley Richards and Joyce Tam. Dobson focuses on liability defence, coverage advice and subrogation. Jones works in commercial litigation and tort defence. Richards represents clients in contract disputes, negligence claims, class actions and insurance related matters. Tam works with insurance coverage, commercial litigation and tort defence matters.

■ Gerald Griffiths and Brian Wasyliw have joined Sherrard Kuzz LLP as new partners. Griffiths works in employment and labour law. Wasyliw is also an employment and labour lawyer with a background in commercial litigation.

■ Howie, Sacks & Henry LLP has bolstered its mass torts team with the hiring of Paul Miller as partner and Valerie Lord as an associate. Miller has 20 years of experience involving cases of defective products and medical devices, motor vehicle accidents, airplane crashes, slip and falls as well as fighting for those denied long-term disability benefits.

■ Stephanie Weschler and Jeff Hershenfield are new partners with Stikeman Elliott LLP. Weschler, who joins the Montreal office, is a member of the employment and labour group. Hershenfield joins the Toronto office’s corporate group.
