Proposed changes to Condominium Act would give owners much needed protection

A recent CBC Toronto investigation has highlighted the need for condo owners and prospective buyers to be aware of who is in control of their condo corporation.

The CBC investigation found that numerous condo corporations in Toronto and Mississauga had elected the same board members — Ray Blanchard, Darryl McGregor and George Laczko — who do not appear to be registered owners or live in the buildings.
