Langlois adds associate to litigation, insurance law group

Katherine Loranger has joined Langlois lawyers litigation and insurance law team as an associate in the firm’s Montreal office.

Loranger has wide-ranging experience in civil and commercial litigation, particularly in the areas of insurance law, commercial real estate, franchising, professional liability and product liability.

She also has significant experience in matters involving fraud, representing various corporate clients before all levels of the courts and advising them on the detection, investigation, prevention and recovery of the proceeds of fraud. Her services are also called upon in files involving extraordinary remedies such as injunctions and seizures before judgment.

Loranger developed her expertise in civil and commercial litigation at a national law firm, and her insurance law expertise in the legal department of a major Canadian insurance company.

She was admitted to the Quebec bar in 2007 after obtaining a degree in civil law from Université de Montréal. She also holds a certificate of qualification in common law from the University of British Columbia.
