Vicki Tickle has joined the Vancouver office of McMillan LLP as a partner. She’ll be a member of the firm’s financial services group working in the insolvency and restructuring practice area.

"Vicki is a talented and highly respected restructuring and insolvency practitioner who brings excellence to the courtroom as well as the boardroom. She is a super fit with the rest of our dynamic national restructuring team working out of offices in Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal,” Wael Rostom, co-chair of the firm's restructuring and insolvency group, said in a news release.

Prior to joining McMillan, Tickle was an associate at Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP beginning in 2008. She advised on complex commercial insolvencies, corporate restructuring and creditor realization. She also has experience in the fields of forestry, mining, manufacturing and technology, real estate and entertainment.

"We are very happy to have Vicki join our group. She brings a considerable amount of experience in all types of insolvency and restructuring matters in the local market, as well as nationally,” added Peter Reardon, co-chair in B.C. of restructuring and insolvency. “Her addition is sure to enhance our position in the restructuring market in British Columbia."

Tickle was called to the bar in Queensland, Australia, and subsequently in England and Wales after receiving her law degree from the University of Queensland in 1994. She worked as a solicitor at Norton Rose LLP in London from 2000 to 2005. She was called to the B.C. bar in 2008.
