Cannabis oil: Heavy on relief, light on cultural baggage

The Canadian cannabis industry operating under the federal Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations (the ACMPR) has been praised for two strengths. Growth and robust regulation. There were 167,754 Canadians registered as clients of licensed producers (LPs) as of March 31, 2017, compared with 53,649 as of March 31, 2016, and 18,512 as of March 31, 2015.  As of July 6, 2017, there are 50 LPs, some of which are co-owned or co-branded, and not all of which are licensed for sale.
