N.S. privacy commissioner seeks more oversight authority

It’s no secret that Nova Scotia’s Information and Privacy Commissioner wants to see significant changes made to modernize the province’s privacy and access legislation. Among the recommendations put forward by Catherine Tully in her recent annual report: giving the commissioner greater legislative weight to do her job.
