British Columbia provincial courthouses close due to wildfires

Wildfires in British Columbia’s Interior region forced the provincial court to close its buildings in Williams Lake and 100 Mile House.

Family matters that were scheduled for the Williams Lake courthouse on July 13 are being adjourned to July 27, unless otherwise addressed with the judicial case manager (JCM), according to a news release issued by provincial court. As well, criminal matters set to be heard on July 12 have been put over to Aug. 2.
