Former judges could not appear before courts or tribunals under federation proposal

Former judges would be barred from communicating with or appearing as a lawyer before any Canadian court or tribunal in order to address the issue of bias, under a rule proposed by the Federation of Law Societies of Canada for its Model Code of Professional Conduct.
