Ottawa women’s shelter given grant to assist study of family court system

Harmony House, a women’s shelter in Ottawa, has been given a federal grant to support its study of Canada’s family court system and to raise recommendations to make the system better.

“It’s actually a pretty ambitious project, so we have multiple facets,” said Harmony House executive director Leighann Burns.
