
Court denies accused terrorist’s attempts to get security certificate quashed

Mohamed Zeki Mahjoub's latest effort to overturn a security certificate denying him entry into Canada because of ties to terrorist organizations has been rejected.
Justice David StratasJustice David Stratas, who wrote the unanimous decision in Mahjoub v. Canada (Citizenship and Immigration) 2017 FCA 157, said the appeal should be dismissed as “the various grounds asserted by the appellant against the security certificate are without merit.”
