Superior Court decision in libel suit called 'influential' in anti-SLAPP case law

A Superior Court justice has dismissed a $120,000 libel action against an Ontario woman under Ontario legislation meant to prevent lawsuits that aim to muzzle free expression, a decision that an observer says will be influential in the field of defamation and libel law.
