Broad mandate of inquiry into long-term care homes praised

The provincial government has tapped Justice Eileen Gillese of the Ontario Court of Appeal to lead an independent inquiry into the province’s long-term care homes after the fallout from the Elizabeth Wettlaufer case, and the inquiry’s broad mandate to look into systemic issues facing the long-term care sector is being praised.
