Nova Scotia justice rebukes police involvement in custody battle

The Supreme Court of Nova Scotia, Family Division, was recently asked to rule on the custody of a young child. In the process of rendering that decision, Associate Chief Justice Lawrence O’Neil publicly reprimanded three police forces that played a role in keeping the whereabouts of the mother and the child a secret.
