Conduit Law announces renewed independence

Conduit Law is once again a standalone entity.

In spring 2016, Deloitte LLP acquired the business of Conduit Law and formed Deloitte Conduit Law LLP. Recently, Conduit founder Peter Carayiannis posted on a bare-bones Conduit Law website that the firm is once again on its own.

“We have decided that Conduit Law can scale more rapidly as an independent firm,” Carayiannis wrote. “We are professionals with the highest standards of client service, but in a rapidly changing world we also need to be able to move in an agile and responsive way to deal with immediate client issues.”

“Conduit Law is back, better, and stronger than ever ... With our sights set on national expansion, we will continue to innovate in the legal industry. We will always put our clients first and strive to eliminate the billable hour.”

Conduit's business model sees the firm outsourcing its lawyers to support in-house legal teams (including placing its counsels directly in clients' offices), providing on-demand solutions for law firms, and assisting clients with short-term projects and special engagements.
