Cassels Brock adds securities and regulatory expert

Brigeeta Richdale has joined Cassels Brock & Blackwell LLP as a partner in the firm's Vancouver-based litigation group.

Richdale works on securities and regulatory matters, fraud enforcement proceedings, corporate/commercial disputes and representation of financial institutions and investment advisers.

She is skilled in asset tracing, conducting investigations with internal and external auditors, enforcement of foreign judgments and orders, as well as dealing with Mareva injunctions, Anton Piller orders and Norwich Pharmacal orders. Richdale also has expetise with litigation resulting from Ponzi schemes, offshore banking and money laundering, fraudulent conveyances, investment fraud, employee fraud and theft and investment disputes.

Richdale has experience conducting ongoing investigations thanks to her work as a litigator in the enforcement department of the British Columbia Securities Commission and her time spent as a former criminal investigator, certified fraud examiner and special provincial constable.
