The British Columbia Law Institute (BCLI) has named Janis Sarra and Mathew P. Good as members of its board of directors.

Sarra, the appointee of dean of the University of British Columbia's Peter A. Allard School of Law, is a professor at the faculty. She is also founding director of the National Centre for Business Law. Sarra served as associate dean of the law school and was named UBC presidential distinguished professor.

Good is the appointee of the B.C. branch of the Canadian Bar Association (CBA). He replaces outgoing CBA appointee Marion Allan.

Good is a class action and complex commercial litigator with Good Barrister and has extensive experience with plaintiff-side actions in the areas of consumer protection, tort law, antitrust and competition law. He also taught statutory interpretation at UBC and the University of Victoria.
