Napping on the job is good for business

Wednesday, December 13, 2017 @ 11:08 AM | By Donalee Moulton

Google Inc., has found a restful way to boost productivity, creativity and performance: let employees sleep on the job.

The tech giant has nap pods available for workers to get a little shut-eye while in the office. And they are not alone. NASA, AOL, Ben & Jerry’s, Nike and the U.S. House of Representatives all have napping programs in place.

Law firms and legal departments in Canada may want to consider similar sleep-friendly initiatives for overworked and under-rested lawyers and staff.
