Paliare Roland adds quartet of associates

Four new associates are the latest members of Paliare Roland Rosenberg Rothstein LLP.

Paul Davis works mainly with the firm’s class actions group representing both plaintiffs and defendants. He also litigates commercial cases. Davis has appeared as counsel before all levels of court in Ontario, as well as the Tax Court of Canada and administrative tribunals, including the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario and the Consent and Capacity Board. He clerked at the Court of Appeal for Ontario for Chief Justice of Ontario George Strathy and Justices David Doherty and Russell Juriansz, and he was an associate litigator at another firm before joining Paliare Roland.

Elizabeth Rathbone
is a commercial litigator who specializes in insolvency law. A graduate of the University of Toronto’s faculty of law, Rathbone previously practised insolvency law at a New York-based firm and represented a variety of stakeholders in a number of large Chapter 11 cases.

Emily Home 
is a litigator who handles employment, union side labour, insolvency, professional discipline matters and commercial law cases. She was a summer student and an articling student with Paliare Roland. While studying at Osgoode Hall, Home worked at Parkdale Community Legal Services

Glynnis Hawe is building a litigation practice that emphasizes employment, union side labour, class actions, professional discipline matters and commercial disputes. She was both a summer student and an articling student at the firm and graduated from Osgoode Hall.
