Langlois lawyers announced that Marianne Plamondon has joined the firm’s Montréal office as a partner in the labour and employment law group.

Plamondon is well-versed in all aspects of labour and employment law, and particularly in the interpretation and application of collective agreements, occupational health and safety, psychological harassment, the protection of personal information, pay equity, employment insurance and human rights.

She has been active in several files involving individual and collective employment and labour relations, and unjust dismissal disputes. In addition, she has extensive experience before the civil courts, particularly in matters involving restrictive covenants in employment contracts and the obligation of loyalty of employees.

Plamondon also acts in employment-related litigation before both the courts and various administrative tribunals. She frequently represents clients before grievance arbitration panels and the Administrative Labour Tribunal.

“Marianne is an accomplished professional who comes to the firm with very impressive credentials,” said Jean-François Gagnon, chief executive officer of Langlois lawyers. “Her experience, proficiencies and thoroughgoing professionalism will be greatly appreciated by our corporate and business clientele.”
