Saskatchewan introduces reverse onus legislation to address revenge porn

The government of Saskatchewan is taking the legal road less travelled. It has introduced new legislation that will make it much more difficult for those who post “revenge porn” and share other intimate images online to claim they had permission.

The Privacy Amendment Act, 2017 also creates new — and unique — legal options for people whose intimate images have been distributed without their consent.
