B.C. report on funding litigation encouraging, but more input needed from clients: law professor

Litigation is an expensive proposition, and a not-for-profit law reform group has identified several options to help people fund their cases that it hopes will spark a conversation on ensuring greater access to justice for those who may not have enough funds to have their cases heard. But a law professor who has studied the issue said more focus needs to be put on the needs of those accessing the legal services themselves rather than the viewpoints of legal professionals.
