PM picks feminist constitutional scholar from Alberta for SCC

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has picked Alberta Court of Appeal Justice Sheilah Martin, a fluently bilingual former law dean with strong constitutional and feminist credentials, to replace Chief Justice Beverley McLachlin, who retires Dec. 15.
