The Federal Court of Appeal has ruled against the Toronto Real Estate Board in its attempts to keep information from its listing service private, a decision the board is vowing to take to the Supreme Court of Canada.

The Toronto Real Estate Board (TREB) maintains the Multiple Listing Service (MLS), a database of information on current and previously available property listings in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), and makes some of this information available to its members via an electronic data feed, which they can use...
