Insolvency lawyer joins Dentons

Dentons Canada LLP has named financial services and insolvency lawyer Tom Gusa as a partner in its restructuring, insolvency and bankruptcy group.

Based in Edmonton, Gusa will practise personal and corporate insolvency, including assisting clients with secured and unsecured debt collection and foreclosures. He will also offer advice on matters relating to corporate debt restructuring, receiverships, Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act (CCAA) proceedings and security enforcement.

Gusa has worked as a sessional professor at the University of Alberta’s faculty of law, teaching judgment enforcement. He is also a frequent speaker on topics relating to bankruptcy and insolvency law.
