Working in the corporate commercial group, Allouba focuses on commercial law and competition and antitrust law. He advises public companies with respect to both transactional and regulatory matters, including private placements, prospectus offerings, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring transactions, privatizations and shareholder meetings. In addition, he has experience working with issuers listed on the TSX Venture Exchange.

Allouba assists established and startup companies with compliance issues involving Quebec’s consumer protection and privacy legislation. He also works with clients on matters related to the Competition Act in connection with pre-merger notifications, business practices and investigations by the Competition Bureau.

He is licensed to practise in both Quebec and New York.

“We are delighted to welcome Adam to our team,” said Claude Morency, managing partner of Dentons’ Montreal office.

“Through a 2008–2009 secondment with the TSX Venture Exchange, Adam obtained a unique perspective that will be of great benefit to both Dentons and our clients. We are excited to leverage his experience and knowledge in these areas of practice.”
