Stikeman Elliott adds seven partners

Stikeman Elliott LLP has new partners in Montreal, Toronto and Calgary.

Kathleen Chevalier
is in Toronto in the employment and labour group. She advises clients in both unionized and non-unionized environments about all aspects of the employment relationship and handles litigation for them in cases such as wrongful dismissal litigation, grievance arbitration and matters before the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal.

Raman Grewal is in Toronto and primarily deals with corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions (M&A). She has expertise in domestic and international offerings, corporate governance, securities regulatory compliance and capital markets developments.

J.R. Laffin practises M&A and securities law, including acting on various high-profile public transactions, both negotiated and unsolicited. He is in Toronto.

Maxime Jacquin is in Montreal and practises mainly banking law with an emphasis on acquisition financing and infrastructure and energy project financing. He also has expertise in M&A, public-private-partnerships (P3s) and debt offering. His clients are both lenders and borrowers involved in domestic and cross-border financings.

Éric Lévesque handles tax matters as they relate to domestic and international M&A, cross-border structuring and financing, investment fund structuring and the taxation of financial instruments. He is based in Montreal.

Aniko Pelland’s practice is corporate finance, M&A and securities law compliance. Based in Montreal, he advises Canadian and foreign clients regarding acquisitions, business combinations, reorganizations, general commercial negotiations, public and private offerings of equity and debt, and governance matters.

Kris Noonan is in the Calgary office and has an employment and labour law, privacy law and human rights practice. He is a management-side lawyer who works with employers of both unionized and non-unionized companies.
