Bennett Jones adds government policy expert

Serge Dupont has joined Bennett Jones LLP as a senior adviser in the governmental affairs and public policy group.

Dupont was formerly the deputy clerk of the Privy Council and deputy minister of Intergovernmental Affairs for the government of Canada. He also served as deputy minister of Natural Resources Canada, and held senior roles in Finance Canada dealing with financial sector policy and tax policy.

Dupont represented Canada, Ireland and the Caribbean on the executive board of the International Monetary Fund, and currently sits on the board of the Public Policy Forum.
