Canada China Business Council names new director

Subrata Bhattacharjee, a partner at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP (BLG), has been appointed director of the Canada China Business Council (CCBC).

Bhattacharjee is also the national vice-chair of BLG’s competition and foreign investment review group. Maintaining a competition, antitrust and foreign investment law and regulatory litigation practice, he has provided foreign investment and national security review and competition law advice on major Chinese inbound acquisitions. Additionally, Bhattacharjee has been actively involved in the Canada-East Asia trade and investment corridor for many years

A bilateral non-profit organization with offices in Canada and China, the CCBC acts as a voice for the Canadian business community on issues affecting Canada-China business, trade and investment.
