Marsha Farnand has been appointed to the position of regional senior justice of the peace to the Ontario Court of Justice.

Originally named as a justice of the peace in 2007, Farnand has been presiding over provincial offences, bail and criminal courts. She will work out of the Central West region.

Farnand replaces regional senior justice of the peace Brett Kelly.

In her new duties, Farnand will assist the associate chief justice or co-ordinator of justices of the peace and the regional senior judge in all matters pertaining to justices of the peace.
