Quebec facing major overhaul to insurance legislation in 2018

The insurance industry is facing major changes, as Quebec’s government is working toward passing legislation that would allow the online distribution of insurance without the assistance of a broker or agent.

In October 2017, the government introduced two bills that aim to modernize the sector and provide more options to consumers.
