Lerners LLP has promoted two women to positions of authority in its Toronto office.

Partner Lisa Munro has been named as managing partner, and partner Cynthia Kuehl is now the Toronto representative on the firm’s executive committee.

Munro, whose practice includes commercial litigation and defence and plaintiff class actions, has served on Lerners’ executive committee for 10 years and currently leads the diversity and inclusion committee.

Kuehl specializes in commercial litigation, health law, appeals and professional regulation matters. She is currently the deputy practice group leader of the firm’s health law group.

“Both Lisa and Cynthia have demonstrated excellence in prior leadership roles while maintaining successful litigation practices. They are excellent role models for our profession and our firm,” said Lerners senior partner Earl A. Cherniak.
