Diagnosing high-conflict spouses in separation and divorce

Of the approximately 70,000 annual divorces in Canada, about 10 per cent are classified as high conflict. About one per cent is classified as ultra high conflict, meaning the high-conflict interactions will keep going, even after separation and divorce are finalized because these couples only know how to exist in conflict.
