The focus of the Toronto-based firm is to provide “provide independent expert advice on systemic policies, practices, plans and legal strategies to facilitate human rights compliance; create fair, productive and sustainable organizations and public policies; and achieve equity for disadvantaged groups in workplaces and communities.”

Cornish intends to help clients assess and audit systemic policies and practices to identify human rights compliance issues and equity gaps, to design equity plans, to mediate dispute resolution, and to design legal compliance strategies or provide expert opinions and reports.

Cornish worked as a litigator, an independent policy adviser and a human rights scholar for more than 40 years. Most recently, she was at Cavalluzzo LLP before retiring from the firm at the end of 2017.
