Lisa Chamandy has new role at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP (BLG).

She is the firm’s first chief knowledge and innovation officer, and in her new position, Chamandy will be responsible for advancing all aspects of knowledge and innovation across BLG nationally.

Chamandy’s previous role was that of national director of knowledge and innovation. Before joining BLG, she was counsel and had responsibilities for client service innovation at another firm. Chamandy has expertise in knowledge management and  innovation, legal project management, process improvement and pricing and alternative fee arrangements.

“In the last year, Lisa has been integral to defining our forward-thinking strategy, and her appointment is a reflection of both her expertise and BLG’s commitment to innovation,” said John Godber, partner and client innovation partner at BLG.

“Investing in new technologies and talent, we not only support clients, but also work hand-in-hand with them to drive industry change and set a new bar for excellence.”
