Vegetative growth: The medical foundation of the Canadian cannabis industry

On March 22, 2018, the Senate adopted Bill C-45 at second reading and referred the bill to the Senate Committee on Social Affairs, Science and Technology. The Cannabis Act is closer to becoming law. Canada is well along the road to applying regulation rather than prohibition to mitigate social and economic harms associated with cannabis and fight its illicit trade.
