Football players respond to latest chapter in fight over player safety

Recently, the Canadian Football League Players Association (CFLPA) filed a grievance against the CFL claiming that the league has not taken appropriate measures to ensure player safety and rehabilitation.

The grievance was filed in reaction to both the Supreme Court of British Columbia and the British Columbia Court of Appeal refusing to hear a case from former CFL player, Arland Bruce III, based on the grounds that unionized players must resolve disputes through an internal labor arbitration process.
