Legal aid eligibility increase means greater access to justice for low-income Ontarians

Legal Aid Ontario (LAO) has received a boost from the provincial government as the financial eligibility threshold for legal aid has increased by six per cent.

According to a government release, the increase means about 153,000 more people will be able to access LAO services as of the beginning of April.
