Cummings Cooper Schusheim Berliner adds partner

Courtney Petch is the newest partner at Cummings Cooper Schusheim Berliner LLP (CCSB).

Toronto-based CCSB specializes in complex business, tax and commercial real estate transactions, and Petch has a tax and estate planning practice.

Her focus is on income tax planning, including reorganizations, transferring wealth from one generation to another and utilizing trusts. Additionally, she has expertise in corporate reorganizations. Petch also provides advice about issues regarding cross-border implications, Henson trusts and difficult beneficiaries.

Petch’s clients range from entrepreneurs to family business owners to high net-worth individuals to private companies.

Before joining CCSB, Petch articled at a large firm in downtown Toronto and practised with a sole practitioner
