Rise in workplace harassment awareness akin to #MeToo, says lawyer

A rise in overall awareness, an employers’ duty to accommodate and dealing with “difficult” people and unfounded claims are set to be discussed in an upcoming audio conference on workplace bullying.

The May 31 session, titled Dealing with Difficult People: Bullying bosses, sensitive employees and other challenging personalities, will feature two lawyers and a clinical psychologist examining how Canada’s legal landscape has shifted when it comes to workplace harassment.
