Voting is a fundamental right and Thursday June 7’s provincial election promises to be a transformative event for Ontario. Many employers have been fielding questions along the lines of “do I get Thursday afternoon off?”

It’s important for everyone to understand employers’ obligations under Ontario’s Election Act so that everyone who’s entitled to vote has a chance to make it to the polls.
