Appeal by the Saskatchewan Government and General Employees’ Union from a judicial review judgment quashing an arbitration award. Saskatchewan employed wildland firefighters represented by the appellant Union. Type 1 firefighters performed the most challenging tasks. The WFX-Fit Test was an industry-standard fitness test designed to simulate wildland firefighting work.
