The Association for Continuing Legal Education (ACLEA) has awarded The Advocates’ Society with the Frank V. Harris Award for Professional Excellence in the Best Programming category for its Women in Litigation Series.

ACLEA membership is comprised of professionals in the fields of continuing legal education and legal publishing. Its annual ACLEA’s Best Awards are highly competitive and the winning projects represent the highest level of achievement for the staff and volunteers involved.

The Advocates’ Society’s Women in Litigation Series is delivered in five cities: Calgary, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, and Halifax. The program explores the challenges and opportunities facing women in litigation, and features mentoring roundtables and discussions with leading panellists from the bench and bar. The Advocates’ Society thanks the 125 faculty members and staff involved in this project.

The award was presented to The Advocates’ Society at ACLEA’s 54th annual meeting on July 31 in Portland, Ore.
