Motion by the defendant B'nai Brith Canada for an order dismissing the plaintiff Lascaris’ libel action on the basis that it was a strategic lawsuit against public participation. Lascaris claimed damages of $200,000 pursuant to the Libel and Slander Act and punitive or exemplary damages of $20,000, arising from an article and tweet published by B'nai Brith.
