Lerners adds litigation, family law associates

Lerners LLP announced that Julia Boddy and Jennifer Black have joined the firm’s Toronto office as associates.

Boddy was called to the bar in 2018. She previously joined Lerners as an articling student in 2017. Prior to joining Lerners she was a summer law student at Financial Services Commission of Ontario.

Boddy practises in the areas of commercial litigation and specialty insurance coverage.

She received her bachelor’s degree in English literature from York University in 2014 and her juris doctorate from the University of Ottawa in 2017.

Black’s practice is focused on family law.

She also articled at Lerners in 2017 and was called to the bar in 2018. Prior to joining Lerners, she was senior division leader at Community and Legal Aid Services Program (CLASP).

Black graduated from the University of Waterloo in 2013 with a BA in arts and business and received her JD from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2017.
