Foglers boosts Toronto team with addition of seven associates

Fogler, Rubinoff LLP announced the following have joined the firm as associates in the Toronto office: Monica Bianchini, Michael Coleman, Petar Dodic, Taleen Ohanessian, Liza Quail, Rachel Fielding and Tamar Silverbrook.

Bianchini will work with the commercial real estate group. Her practice focuses on acquisitions, dispositions and financing of commercial, industrial, retail and vacant lands. Bianchini has acted for a broad range of clients including real estate investment trusts (REITs), private corporations, individuals, developers, governmental organizations and trustees appointed by the court to dispose of real estate portfolios.

Coleman has joined the firm’s commercial real estate and banking groups. He received his juris doctorate from Queen’s University Faculty of Law. During his time at Queen’s, he acted as a student adviser for master’s and doctoral students and was the equity and diversity commissioner for his two final years of law school.

Dodic has joined the securities law group. He is developing a broad securities practice and has a particular interest in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate finance and securities regulatory matters.

Ohanessian will work in the firm’s business law group and is developing a diverse corporate practice.

Quail will also work with the business law group. She is developing a broad corporate commercial practice and has a particular interest in M&A, securitizations and financings.

Fielding is the newest member of the firm’s condominium law group. Her practice involves providing advice on all areas of condominium law and with a focus on litigation, serving condominium corporations, owners, property managers and other members of the condominium community.

Silverbrook will be working with the firm’s wills and estates group. As part of her practice, she assists clients with wills, powers of attorney, trusts and estate litigation. Her estate litigation practice is broad, with files including those from will challenges to guardianship applications.
