Minden Gross hires senior associate for wills and estates group

Minden Gross LLP announced that David Judson has joined the firm as a partner while Joanne Golden and Sheila Morris are new associates.

Judson will work with the business law group, focusing on public and private mergers and acquisitions as well as domestic and cross-border capital markets transactions of all types including equity, debt, hybrid securities and structured products. He has substantial experience in corporate restructurings, strategic investments and the creation and documentation of complex joint venture arrangements

In his securities practice, Judson has represented a variety of issuers and underwriters in initial public offerings and listings on the TSX and the TSX Venture Exchange. He has also taught advanced securities regulation at various law schools across Ontario.

Golden is a senior associate in the wills and estates group. She focuses on a wide range of estate, trust and personal tax planning matters. She has significant experience advising high net worth clients, entrepreneurs, professionals and private companies on an array of estate and trust planning issues.

Before joining Minden Gross, Golden ran the boutique firm Golden Estate Law after working for a number of years at large Bay Street law firms. She has the ability to deal with complex issues and provide sophisticated strategies in a manner that is relatable to clients.

Morris will work with the wills and estates group.

Her practice focuses on litigating will challenges, unjust enrichment claims, dependent support claims and guardianship applications at various levels of courts across Ontario.

Morris is a skilled litigator, and joined Minden Gross with a comprehensive background in estate, commercial and insurance litigation.
