Two new partners join Miller Thomson

Miller Thomson announced that Lesley Kim is a new partner at the firm’s Regina office, and Patrick Fitzpatrick is a new partner in the Calgary office.

Kim, who will work with the tax group, practises in the areas of domestic and international tax law and has particular experience with corporate and individual income taxation, including cross-border transactions, corporate reorganizations, public and private company financings, estate planning and dispute resolution with the various taxing authorities in Canada.

Fitzpatrick practises primarily in dispute resolution. His dispute resolution practice involves contractual disputes, intellectual property litigation, shareholder and partnership litigation, employment law, oil and gas litigation, insolvency and restructuring, and various other civil and commercial litigation matters. Fitzpatrick also represents purchasers and vendors in sales of businesses such as professional practices.
