Ingersoll named managing partner of Cox & Palmer’s Halifax office

Cox & Palmer announced the appointment of Daniel W. Ingersoll, as managing partner of the Halifax office.  

A partner with Cox & Palmer since 1995, Ingersoll has previously held leadership roles in the firm as chair of both the regional and Halifax employment and labour groups and as a member of the Halifax executive committee.

Ingersoll, whose practice focuses mainly on labour and employment law, represents self-governing organizations, private corporations and institutions. He provides advice with respect to collective agreement interpretation, employment contracts, employee terminations, labour standards, occupational health and safety, workers’ compensation and human rights. He has extensive civil litigation experience and has been involved in hearings before specialized tribunals.

He graduated from Mount Allison University with a B.A. with honours in 1986 and Osgoode Hall Law School in 1989. He was admitted to the Nova Scotia bar in 1990.
