BLG’s Calgary office gets new commercial litigation partner

Borden Ladner Gervais LLP (BLG) announced that Jonathan Liteplo has joined the firm as a partner in the commercial litigation group.

He will work out of BLG’s office in Calgary.

According to the firm’s press release, Liteplo, a leading energy regulatory and environmental litigator for more than 25 years, has worked on some of the largest and most innovative infrastructure projects and rate regulation methods in Canada.

He frequently advises clients working in the electricity, oil and gas, water and wastewater and mining industries. He assists both domestic and international clients in navigating the regulatory and compliance processes required for major energy and utility projects.

“We are eager to welcome Jonathan’s big-picture thinking, and his dynamic decision making capabilities. We are excited to add Jonathan’s talents to our team of industry professionals,” said BLG’s national group head David Di Paolo.
